See It

Help good teens avoid trouble, by engaging them in productive positive activities! The Debutante & Esquire Boot Camp is an intense preparatory program, its purpose is to give youth the tools and resources needed to succeed as they pass into adulthood while instilling cultural pride and knowledge of black history. Tau Omega Kappa(TQK)is a youth membership organization focused on strong values, scholarship, and achievement. The purpose of TQK is to provide social, cultural, academic, and civic activities to African American Teens that expand their minds and prepare them for life. The principles of the organization Integrity, Unity, Self-Determination, Creative Work & Responsibility, Cooperative Economics, Purpose, Creativity, Faith, Achievement, and Scholarship form the foundation for prosperity and success. Believe It

Transformed Teens is dedicated to transforming average teens into positive powerful achievers. Its mission is to change average teens into young ladies and gentlemen who will make a positive impact in their community, live a life of purpose, and fulfill their dreams. This mission is accomplished through two major projects: The Debutante & Esquire Bootcamp & Tau Omega Kappa

Build It

While coming from a working class background, thanks to parents who emphasized education, scholarship and achievement, Kania received full scholarship to University Liggett School, a prestigious Prep School in Suburban Detroit. As a student there, and then at Duke University, Kania was exposed to another world of education, resources, and perspectives, even compared to her sister who attended a magnet program in the Detroit Public School system and went on to attend Prairie View A & M University. So the two were inspired to create an affordable program for families who want to help their children move into adulthood and be successful and create an avenue for positive youth to socialize in a safe, accepting, supportive environment. A program including both young men and women because while there were a few programs for young ladies there were almost no programs geared towards helping teen boys in the African American transition into adulthood.
