The Problem

I want to teach girls faced with teenage pregnancies to defy the statistics. I am already involved with online resources and counsel several friends, but I want to make the issue wider and more known. There are so many resources for help and these girls need to be encouraged to succeed in their passions.

Plan of Action

I want to create an organization known as "Defying the Statistics" and create a website to get the word out. I aim to provide information, my own personal story, and an advice column for prengnancy. I also want to start a community group within my community for girls faced with this and a weekly online chat for girls who need help, as well as a 24-7 forum. I also want to provide fundraisers and drives to raise awareness of teenage pregnancy and to get items to help teenage mothers succeed.
