The Problem

I am just starting this project on Life Straws. The device functions as an individual water filter, which eliminates dangerous bacteria via iodinized chambers inside the straw as water travels into the user's mouth. It goes without saying that this invention could play a tremendous role in reducing the incidence of water-borne illness if successful. I am going to start a 5k run and help educate people on this important cause. I am planning on asking for donations but I am not sure how to.

Plan of Action

I am going to start a 5-k run to raise money to buy these Life Straws and to send them to a country in need. I will ask coperations to fundraise my project. I will have more ideas in the future, I am just begininng.
