The Problem

I'm trying to raise awareness about the way society perceives and treats people who have some form of mental disability. I'm trying to cover topics from the typical mental illnesses like Depression, Bipolar Disorder ect.. and also cover more innate illness like Autism and Down Syndrome. I will try to cover internatinal issues and also local issues. For example, there are some countries that don't have adequate facilities for those with mentall illnesses and most of the time, the patients also aren't treated ethically.

Plan of Action

I'm planning to make some sort of creative ways to raise awareness about mental illness stigma and also raise awareness about the bad conditions that some go through internationally. I hope make some sort of t-shirts that say something about mental illness and have people where them around school. I'm hoping to make events that are well attended and give out the correct information and how they can take action.
