Students Designing Lives is passionate about youth empowering - issues. Through on-line mentoring reources, SDLO has reached over 91,000 adolesence aroud the world with resource materials, recognition / merit award distribution / educational - relational - spiritual - motivational - inspirational on line tools.
the plan of action:
SDLO plans to Partner with the local community Public Library during Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration week, to facilitate an event in the children's Library section for young people ages Pre-K to 8th Grade for an empowering movie / lecture / Gifting program.
how you can get involved:
While the library's TEEN ADVISORY COUNSEL will be on-hand to volunteer / host the event - others are invited to join us in support with their time (attendance), talent ( participation ), and treasure ( donations in kind ) to continue funding future events for children.
