The Problem

We wanted to provide an informative presentation of how to act and dress in the professional world to our fellow students at Rutgers. At the same time, we wanted to donate all the money we raised as well as donated clothing to Career Gear and Dress for Success organizations to provide professional dress to underprivileged people.

Plan of Action

For our project to be successful, we made smaller committees to break up the work. We needed to find stores to donate clothing - K&G and Finale; we needed people to organize the fashion show; people to promote and sell tickets; order food; work with our guest speakers to have an informative section of the event; people to take models (20) to the store to try on clothes; set up the room; someone to make event programs, etc. There were many things people could help with.
