The Problem

Our community has some very low income areas where the kids often miss out on community events because their parents are unable to take them. During our Christmas Holiday Hope Chest Project as we were delivering items to a few houses in this neighborhood, we realized how poor this community was. Therefore we designed this project to help this very low income neighborhood in our community.

Plan of Action

We have collected 40 Easter Baskets with candy, toys, and other items. We have partnered with the local library to set a distribution date for these baskets. We have asked a local party store to pass out the information about this event for 1 week before distribution. Next week we will distribute all 40 Easter Baskets to the youth 6th Grade and Under who come to the library.
