The Problem

Youth in eco- and intentional communities tend to leave these communities and go back to 'normal' life after spending time in these communities. We want to know why these youth are leaving and what exchange can be made to better satisfy both the needs of these youth and the communities.

Plan of Action

To travel around ecovillages with a program of appreciative inquiry, trying to determine why youth leave and what would encourage them to stay. Also to determine what these communities see in the youth and what they are expecting. We are also looking to create an exchange program between these communities while traveling.
