Suffering war in my country, Afghanistan has made my spirit strong enough to take an action and help the women in my country, who were deprived of education and were not allowed to go to school. Also the innocent children whose parents died in the war in front of thier eyes, and are now begging in the streets of Kabul(capital city of Afghanistan). As a sixteen years old Afghan girl, I think it is my responsibility to make an effort and help these people by raising fund during my exchange year in United States. My plan is to build a school for girls in a rural area in Afghanistan where there is no school for girls and also build a homeless shelter for orphan children and provide them food and school supplies. Do you know that ONLY 15% of women are educated in Afghanistan? The most important factor for the development of country is education. Women make half of the crust of the society. Specially in this situation Afghanistan needs more educated women, who can stand with men and work for the development of their country. By educating Afghan women they won't suffer violence from their community anymore. They won't prefer sucide if they face problems because they would be able to find good solutions. Afghan women won't face forced marriages if they are educated and aware of their rights(14 years old girl won't be exchanged with a dog). Finally they will be able to form an enlightened family by presenting sound and knowlegeable children to the society.
