My project is based completely on Education,firstly for myself and then for my community and the rest of the society. It's my way to give something back to the world.
This process of gaining and sharing knowledge aims mostly at clearing mis-conceptions about Islam, Muslims, the Arab world, etc and hence, promoting peace and tolerance. It also involves calling people to take action against the war and educate themselves regarding the affairs of their oen government.
It's a very large project, the work of which extends from teaching kids in a small Saturday-school held at the community Mosque, Weekly booths handing out educational pamphlets at a community college, to working with other organziations and cleaning up blocks on Southside Chicago while handing out informational pamphlets and conducting one-on-one conversations. I also arrange for large lectures and speeches sponsored by a student club, Muslim Students Association, for which I have been the president, vice-president and a general officer throughout my career at the college. I have also achieved a certificate for being the vice-president of the most active club on campus.
