This project is to offer free tutoring services for children from (K-12) in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Each year students have to take a test known as the SOL here in Virginia, I intend to help prepare students for this test. Not only to help educate them but also to motivate and encourage them in other facets of life. Mentoring someone to succeed in education is something each child can take with them throughout life. I hope by helping these students now and in the future will encourage them to be successful and expand their dreams. I want them to have high expectations for life but also that they aren’t so high that they can’t be reached.
