Enhancing the lives of the Disadvantaged Children in Uganda through Education

We are trying to raise funds and get sponsors for the children so that they can meet their costs in School. With the limited resources we are convincing the school administration to allow the children study for the mean time as we work out funding and sponsorship. Parents are responding, when we talk to them and let them know the impact of education. This club will continue to raise awareness about the project and do fundraising for necessities like books, pencils ,pens to be sent to Uganda. We are also devising means of fund raising to construct a better toilet/latrine facility, the one in place is very bad, it is just a hole dug and flooded with house flies, unfortunately children enter here without shoes. We are also going to work out a way of getting shoes for the children, in addition get a way of fighting the jiggers in the area that are threatening the lives of Children. Lastly, we are to raise funds and help start up a small micro-credit systems to give to the parents so that they can help themselves out of [poverty and sustain themselves
