Ennis Greenhouse

the problem:

Approximately 10-15 years ago, a greenhouse of nearly 2 acres fell out of operation due to exceedingly high operational costs. Since that time, the greenhouse has become increasingly delapidated and has now become an eyesore of sorts as one enters the town area of Ennis, Montana. After speaking with various community members, it became evident that this greenhouse was once a considerable resource to the town of Ennis and the state of it now is heartbreaking. Since that time, I've proposed to work with a "green" builder that is new to the area in partnership with the local high school to work to purchase the greenhouse and eventually refurbish it. Once back in operation, the greenhouse could serve not only as an educational resource to the school, but also a community space available for plot rentals, research, and after school programs.
