The Problem

The community is Port Huron High School. The problem I am trying to solve is conserving and preserving the environmet through education.

Plan of Action

I made By - Laws, found an advisor, created a mission statement and recived approvial from my school principle. The impact I have made is making students more aware of my group, membership has increased and we are coming up with more ideas as a group.

Project Updates

Our Environmental Club has added 10 tons to our total in just the 2010 School yr and we have switched recycling companies to Green Earth Recycling of MI.

I have established a Paper Recycling program at my high school. I have contacted people to start it and I have made informational fliers for the Staff to support me. I have also taught the group Leave No Trace (LNT.org) and have planned on having an informational booth at the Earth Day Fair this coming April.
