The Problem

There are many problems I have tried to address, the largest being recycling and waste production, as well as conveying many ideas to become less consumer focused while emphasizing communtiy sustainability.I feel that by leading by example we can create many comunities with the capacity to sustain themselves for many generations to come. I am trying to promote sustainable communities by providing both the resources and education necessary to give people a better understanding of what it actually means to become environmentally sustainable.

Plan of Action

Presently, I have already formed a small environmental services company that provides curbside and event recycling to the residents of Bemidji, MN. The plan is to turn my business into a non-profit student and community based organization for the entire city of Bemidji. Aside from that, I have become involved with many local and regional groups that focus on the promotion of sustainability within various communities across Northern Minnesota.
