The Problem
There is an 8-year old boy in my town named Zach with an extremely rare disease called Stergis Webber. He seems normal now, but his eyesight and coordination are rapidly deteriorating and in a few years he'll be completely blind and wheelchair-bound. Doctors told him riding horses would help him, both physically and mentally, as he grows. I own several horses, so I volunteer once a week to teach him how to ride.
Plan of Action
Zach will be completely blind in less than two years, so I'd like to get him to the point where he can ride independently before he loses his sight. I can already see him progressing, and his confidence growing.
