Extended Melody Project is trying to solve the problem of children living on the streets (or street children), through music and unity of local community.

The Extended Melody Project wishes to support orphanages and grass root organizations that promote a holistic view of raising children. We believe that all children deserve to live in a loving home, while receiving an education. So, as they move onto adulthood, they are productive and thoughtful citizens of the world. We decide to use music as a medium to bring people of a smaller community together to raise funds and support peace in the global community.

The Extended Melody Project has already held two benefit concerts, one in March of 2009 and the other in October 2009. The first concert supported an orphanage in Brazil, raising over $1900.00 and the second for an orphanage in Cambodia raising $1800. Due to their success, we have decided to host at least one concert every year, which raises awareness about street children and supports different organizations around the world. Future plans may even include a tour that includes band who want to help support children around the world.
