The Problem

I am trying to solve the problem of the poverty in Tanzania and the large amounts of orphans in the orphanages. Also helping the schools that are working to educate the orphans and impoverished children.

Plan of Action

We originally started with donations until my dad went to Tanzania to create a book of photographs of the orphanages and schools he visited there. Now the book is being published and all the profits will go to the schools and orphanages there.

Project Updates

A gallery in Glouscter has asked us to do a speech/presentation of the book some time next month. I'll have more info later... but also I'm doing a fundraiser at my school and my drama group is hosting it =D keep helping people!

Hey! I've noticed that I need video on this soon and I hopefully will be able to add a video of some of the people being helped by this project (only 3 from one one school). They wanted to tell about who they were and what they wanted to be when they grow up, it's short but might be able to give an idea of the people involved.

We just finished the book premier at the art association raising over $1500!!!
At the introduction of the talk my dad was doing about it they surprised me with having me talk about what inspired me to help them and begin the process that started the entire book. I was doing an entire improv but I stressed the point of my feeling that helping one child can begin a chain reaction that will rid Tanzania of poverty forever.
I will update later about how to order books if interested. Each are $30 and all the money goes to the orphanages and schools featured in the book.
Thank you,
Pemaquid

Eyes of Tanzania will be released to the public on April 15 at 7 pm at the Rockport Art Association in Rockport MA
