The Problem

As an ambassador in our county's 4H program, I work with many youth, teaching classes and helping them prepare for life. Something I see a lot of in our youth today is the need to express themselves. I believe that everyone has an artistic side to them, whether its through sewing, planting, painting, photography, wood shop, or others, by teaching quality classes on the topics that our youth find interesting, we are helping to develop them in a creative way. By providing classes for youth, they will be able to nurture and grow their creative sides, express themselves, and build self esteem.

Plan of Action

My plan of actions is to create an overnight event (FACSY) that has different classes from Woodshop, to Fashion review, that interest youth in our 4H. I want to create an event that is amazing, full of creative visuals to get minds pumping and classes that are full of educational materials but at the same time, are still fun and exciting. I believe that with the right resources our Ambassador youth can create an amazing event that will have kids looking forward to attending again as soon as its over!
