The Problem

Perform For A Cure works to empower young people (college aged and younger) to use their passions and talents in the arts to create a lasting, positive change on their community. Fashion Now. is a new project based in Oklahoma City, produced by a group of college students at Oklahoma City University using their passions, talents, and fields of study to produce a top of the line fashion show. It is completely youth operated from producer to performer to outreach director. The benefits include inspiring other young people to realize the impact of the arts and fundraising while at it. The beneficiaries of the fundraising are slated to be the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the University of Oklahoma's Children's Hospital. Plan of Action

We have already established a business plan for the production of this show with all of our volunteers. We have booked a space and began initial contacts with vendors and other donors of the clothing. As the event gets closer, we will be holding auditions for the performers (models, singers, etc). right now, we have one financial backer that is wiling to front us the money for the production, however, we would like to secure a donation for the production costs, so we can utilize all of the income as profit for the beneficiary organizations.
