The Problem

We are trying to increase the self image of young girls so that they do not feel the need to be validated by the media, opposite sex, or other peers. We also are trying to provide education to young girls so that they will be informed on topics such as teen dating abuse, the importance of an college education, bullying and cyber-bullying, appearance and hygiene, and health and fitness.

Plan of Action

We brought together several different women of different backgrounds, ages, ethnicities, and we gave them bonding experiences, self image building experiences, several practices with runway walk, and we put together a fashion show for them.
