Feed the Need: Food Drive

the problem:

We participated in a food drive for Make a difference day through our schools and Volunteer Loudoun. Now we are continuing it to help a brand new food bank, Tree of Life, that opened due to increased needs. They really need our help and resources.

why it's important:

Many people are struggling financially and have to pay rent, gas to get to work, and sometimes unfortunately they try and get by on less food and or poor quality. We want to help others that currently have less than we do, because, it can happen to anyone.

the plan of action:

Starting this Friday our club is having our annual Christmas party and every club member is bringing a can a food. We will have a donation box set up in our school as well as local projects we put on in the community such as our annual basketball tournament.
