First, I sent out a newsletter stating the problem and my solution, and I asked for volunteers. I had a few neighbors who volunteered to help, and there were traps placed in a shady, covered part of each of their yards. When a person found a cat in a trap, they would call the humane society and schedule a spay, or neuter and vaccinations for that day. Later that day, or the next day, the cats would be picked up and released from where they were trapped. Recently I had a litter of kittens in my garage. I raised them with KMR and domesticated them. It took about 2 weeks, but it was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.
