I'm trying to raise awareness of child abuse within in my community and eventually the state all the way to the nation and finally the world.

I was sexually assaulted for 2 straight years and for about a year before that when I was younger. It took me untill my freshman year of highschool to let my family know. And it wasnt by choice. It was because of my assaulter's stupidity on why my family and community found out. I want to let children, teenagers, and adults know that it is not okay to be sexually assaulted and that they can tell someone and it's not their fault. Their is someone out there that will speak for them if they themselves cannot.

I plan to raise awareness by putting on a bennifit concert and hopefully a childrens festival in my comunity. These events will hopefully raise enough money to build/remodel a safe place for abused children and families. A place where abused children feel safe and comfertable enough to tell their story and stop what is wrong. A place where they are not judged but loved.
