Fish Thicket Cleanup

When the Fish thicket land preserve became officially protected by the town of Brookhaven (New York), many beer/soda cans were found buried in giant mounds. Trash from people passing by and the nearby roads had built up. Our club took action and cleaned the Fish Thicket by recycling the cans and participating in the Brookhaven town cleanup. We ended up completely filling over a dozen bags with garbage and recycled as much as we could (The clear bags in the picture are filled with recyclables)
