The Problem

There is an overwhelming need for food all over the world. I want to be able to feed everyone that is hungry, but for now I am feeding the hungry in my own community. food4antioch.blogspot.com

Plan of Action

Myself and two of my friends passed out flyers in our neighborhood of over 400 houses telling everyone what we were doing, what items we were collecting, and what they could do to help. The next week, we drove around the neighborhood picking up bags and boxes of food. Everyone was so generous! We were able to collect well over 500 pounds of food for our local food pantry. It was a very encouraging turnout, and we plan to make it an annual thing and hopefully extend into other neighborhoods.
