The Problem

We are aware of the disturbing changes of our neighborhoods, the violence, abuse and bullying our youth and seniors encounter daily. By your kind donation you are pledging your support in helping us end this viscous cycle that is pass from adult to the youth generation. There is no other non-profit organization like ours anywhere in America: - We provide friendship and companionship for ages 5 to 105 years, specifically the non violent youth, elderly & Veterans living in shelters, homes and no home at all. - We PAY all expenses for all play-dates, outings and events. You never pay for anything. - We are not a child care center nor an after school youth club. We are not a parent-to-child mentoring program, but a peer-to-peer friendship, mentoring & inspiring. Statistic report when a parent, especially a father, is absent in a young kids life they are more subjected to the juvenile system. My children have an absent father, but they want to set an example through Fostering a Friend, that they can succeed and exceed in every situation they encounter. They want to inspire and reassure their peers they are not at fault or feel ashamed, demonstrate that self esteem is within and success can be obtain when goals are set realistically. Allowing an escape for a few hours from a brutal reality and salvaging trust over a board game while engaging in age appropriate conversations. We are not affiliated with the YMCA/Boys & Girls Club. We are a quiet, stress-free, kid-to-kid mentoring and inspiring program. There’s no memberships fees, no after school programs. There’s no large groups of youth present for potential bullying to occur. We want to be a friend to a friend who needs a friend. To promote a positive chain reaction while developing essential human interaction as adolescence's ends and adulthood begins. Implement a Summer Camp Program to inspire future Fisherman ,Environmentalist, Forester Our long term goal of will fund a nature-like atmosphere for a complete non-membership, monitored play-date settings, holiday/birthday parties, playrooms, mediation rooms, equipment and supplies. Also purchasing an R.V for the disciplined honor roll school students; rewarding an overnight camping trip, campfires, fishing, acknowledge the importance of recycling and nature. Inspiring a child through the serenity of nature. This will also be our main transportation, as it is equipped with bathroom and kitchen facilities to accommodate children to our events. It is important to give the parent a time-out to recollect thoughts and retain themselves for healthier relationships between parent/child. Parents are overwhelmed with their current living conditions, an emotional break is required to prevent another negative outburst on the already abused child.
