The Problem

The Free Is Art Project is dedicated to making arts empowerment available and accessible to low-resource residents of Windham County, VT. We inspire resourcefulness and creativity, through arts education.

Plan of Action

"Free Is Art" is partnered with 4 other local non-profit organizations. Programing began in mid-July of 2011. Since then, we have offered over 60 hours of consistent, one-on-one music instruction, to 25 low-income students of all ages. We are seeking funding to expand our community outreach, and offer more consistent transportation for students who have a difficult time getting to lessons... especially during the winter.
