The Problem

In this day and age of technology and innovation, our ecosystem is depleting by these advancements. Deforestation is a reoccurring theme throughout our country because we are constantly urbanizing. Our goal is to change that, not to stop our country's growth. But, to take what parks and public areas we have and provide them with growth to keep our world green. Our mission is to plant fruit trees in these areas. It is proven that they are vital to our oxygen supply and with all the pollution around today we could definitely use some more. Also they provide food for all the Earth's inhabitants. As of now our mission is very local, being funded by myself and planting at local parks in Ohio. Hopefully eventually this could become a national movement.

Plan of Action

Our process is simple, purchase fruit trees and plant them at local parks and preserves (with permission of course). Last year we only planted around 20 trees because there expensive and I am a college student who does not make much money but I hope to at least double that number every year, and also start looking for donations. So the impact so far has been minimal because of it just starting but hopefully it will take off soon in the future.
