Well there was a fund raiser at ABC Ace Hardware in Alpena, MI. I tried gathering up some friends to help out but i ended up being the only teenager that would help out. The fun raiser was for a woman that i know personally. She has been battling cancer in the brain for the past 3 years. Up until presently she had been doing fine but she got really sick about 6 months ago. So her fellow co-workers and I put together a fund raiser for her. We had a Chinese raffle, garage sale, food meals(for those who came to Ace Hardware), a bake sale, and near the end we had a head signing ceremony. We raised around $10,000.00 within 4 1/2 hours in one day.
