Fruit Trees for Nutrition

To create a fruit garden at our school that will be managed and cared for by the students over time. First, we will measure and research our space. Next we will design a proposal for our Director. After official approval,(we already have a verbal approval), we will spend time in and out of school to plant the fruit trees. The location of the trees have already been determined. There is a growing need for erosion prevention as well as other outside learning areas. Finally, we will nurture and expand our fruit garden to ensure success. I believe this will have a profound impact on the participants as well as the other students who attend this school as well as the community who frequents the city park nearby. It will motivate and encourage them to be leaders in their community to help make a difference.
