The Problem

I raised over $8,000 for Corbin Adams, a young boy with pediatric brain cancer. The work I did for him has inspired me to continue to raise money for pediatric cancer patients like Corbin. Although money is not a solution to happiness, these children deserve to have vacations, toys, and even pets that will make their journey easier. Additionally, I hope to raise money to fund more pediatric cancer research.

Plan of Action

The fundraiser I worked on for Corbin included obtaining donations for a $1,000 gift card and selling raffle tickets for $10 a piece for a chance at the $1,000. Overall, $8,000 was raised. Through generous raffle ticket purchases in Corbin's name, he was also the recipient of the $1,000 gift card. I want to continue to raise money for pediatric cancer by working with local businesses and volunteer organizations to plan and execute other events similar to the raffle fundraiser for Corbin!
