The Problem

Getting involved in our Garfield DECA had drastically help lower the statistic of youth involved in street related crimes. A promising 90% of all students in our DECA program come back the following year ( NOTE: the other percentage graduate from high school). This statistic proves that the Garfield DECA is extremely engaging. More of these students have a higher chance of landing a job or internship due to the skills learned from DECA. Besides all the positives in contributes to students, DECA always gives back, it is the major way our school is surviving financial, since 20% of the money goes to our ASB. The profit made from the Student Store also funds the DECA competition expenses where representatives battle to prove their marketing knowledge.

Plan of Action

For all those reasons, Garfield DECA is the way to go, support us you know we will put in to great use. The goal of the scholarship is to help fund the Student Store and see it soar new heights. By funding the Student Store all the proceeds goes to help our school. By helping support the Student Store so many other programs and students will benefit at the end. In the long run more students will be able to participate and get the opportunity.
