The Problem

Whether it exists around the block or around the world, there are issues facing young people that are way too big for them to tackle alone. By using the Millennium Development Goals as a framework, Generation Y Not helps educate and inspire our peers to be the change and make a difference in the lives of others less fortunate.

Plan of Action

I have held three Generation Y Not 5 day retreats where teen leaders come together to become inspired. I have organized 6 fundraisers that have raised a total of over $28,000.00 for 150 Malaria Nets, two new classrooms at a school in Nairobi, funds for an orphanage in the Dominican Republic and funds for the food program at the local Boys and Girls Club
