See It

Our group wants to make t-shirts with slogans to help remind people to keep our neighborhood clean, by picking up trash, not littering, etc. We will then sell the t-shirts to raise money for a local food pantry or soup kitchen. With each shirt we sell we will pass out a pamphlet with 10 quick ways to clean up the community that we will have created ourselves. The main goal is to not only help clean up our neighborhood but to also raise as much money as we can, so that we can provide the money to a local soup kitchen that we have been volunteering at. The money will be used to help cook the food or to buy supplies for the kitchen. Since we will be donating the money to a soup kitchen we have already been volunteering at, we will be able to see firsthand how the money will help the people we have formed relationships with. This project will allow us to combat two major issues in our neighborhood: hunger and an unclean environment.
