The Problem

In Sacramento, Ca gang violence is rising. There are no resources in the community that are available to the youth, to help inspire or maybe help deal with mental and emotional issues they could be going through. By offering a community arts center we are encouraging the kids to use their mind in a different, yet effective way. Music opens the doors to many inspirational ways of comfort. Everyone is an Artist in their own way, all you have to do is find the Artist in You.

Plan of Action

My plan is to open a Community Arts Center fully equipped with every instrument. Volunteer teachers to teach different art classes. Acting classes, dance classes, and much more. This is a request that is much needed, all it takes is word of mouth and slowly we will start making the change needed to stop violence between our brothers and sisters.
