Gift Drive for children at a homeless shelter

the problem:
We are trying to spread some holiday cheer to the children at the homeless shelter next to our school.

14why it's important:
People often get lots of holiday presents, but those living in temporary housing don't tend to have holidays with plain celebration
the plan of action:
We organized and publicized the gift drive, contacted the shelter (who we have worked with before for a school supplies drive)and we are taking over the gifts tomorrow and helping them wrap them.
We ask for new, unwrapped toys, gift cards, books, cd's, dvd's, school supplies, and basically anything a child may like for the holidays.
