Gingerbread Housemaking Competition

We reached out to our dining services, Bon Appetit. They decided to partner with us and provide 50lbs of gingerbread dough! We made gingerbread house templates and used the gigantic university ovens. Students registered to enter the competition. Each participant had to pay $5 if it was on the spot or $4 if they pre-registered. More donations were (and are) always welcome! The proceeds went toward improved water sanitation in Bangladesh and the gingerbread houses went to a local food pantry, Amazing Grace. We had total of 14 houses made!
