The Problem

I am developing a mentorship program for young girls ages 12-17 in the Metro-Detroit Area. Many girls in the Detroit area deal with low self esteem due to poverty and life circumstances. I would like to increase the amount of positive female role models that some of the young girls don't have access to.

Plan of Action

I am working on the current business plan and program outline. I am working with current youth outreach programs in my city in order to taylor my mentorship program to the needs of the girls I wish to service. I believe that through my city-wide efforts I can increase the number of females to become productive and progressive citizens.
