The Problem

A few friends and I started G.R.O. (Girls Reaching Out) several years ago to show that young people can be altruistic in nature and do something positive for their community and the people around them.

Plan of Action

We have completed projects such as meeting the troops at DFW airport, making baby blankets for Children's Hospital, calling Bingo at the local nursing home, raising funds for Lungs for Linda, making over 500 sandwiches for the SoupMobile of Dallas, spending a day at the Dallas Life Foundation shelter and assisting with the Cystic Fibrosis Walk-a-thon, etc...
