Vital Stats
Money Raised: we are a mutual aid collectiveSee It
Food Not Bombs is a grassroots collective that has been around since the 1980's and was started in Massachusettes by a couple of anti-nuclear war activists who spraypainted "Food Not Bombs" on walls. Food Not Bombs has now evolved into collectives all over the world who fight hunger, oppression, and poverty while building community organization, equality and autonomy. Glendale, Arizona Food Not Bombs currently has 4 members that work together to build mutual aid and fight hunger by serving free food, giving away clothes and just talking to those who are the most neglected people on earth: those that are shelterless. Although we do not only feed homeless people (we feed anyone who is hungry) we do not have enough food at the current time being and focus on those who are starving on the streets. We believe the only way to make a difference and create a better world is to start showing people by working together we can create social change.
