The Problem

Our goal is to find a world without nuclear weapons

Plan of Action

With our local organization, we plan to screen the movie Countdown to Zero for the state-wide community (including all state-level lawmakers,) conduct petition drives across the state to get people to sign the Global Zero Declaration and promote the Cost Campaign, which features the statement 'Cut Nukes, Not ______ (schools, public safety, healthcare, jobs, or clean energy,) especially since the U.S. is poised to spend $1 trillion on nuclear weapons in the next decade. We have over 400,000 signatories from across the planet, including over 300 current and former heads of state, as well as civilian, government and military leaders.
