GLOW (Girls Leading Our World) and TOBE (Teaching Our Boys Excellence)

Alot of work went into the planning of the camps. The first step was finding a local organization who was as passionate about what we wanted to accomplish as we were. Once I was able to find an organization who wanted to work with us we were able to start looking for a location to hold the camps. Once this was accomplished my camp planning committee and myself were able to begin fundraising efforts by writing two grants. While we worked on funding we also recruited students for the camps and began to plan for lessons and activities for the camps. By the time the camps were set to begin I had informed all volunteers of the schedule, lessons and activities that would take place. By the end of the camps were confident that we had accomplished what we had set out to accomplish and created memories to last a lifetime!
