The Problem
In order to keep our lives in balance requires a little bit of time to step back and adire it for a second. What do we have going for us? What is important to us? To those around us which we love?
Our lives have us juggled around a number of things. Work/ School, family/friends/relationships, religion, exercise, hobbies, and of course every day round the house things.
Whenever we boil down to it, it seems that making healthy choices during all of this is impossible.
Really and truly, it isn't. Its easy, we just have to set goals, set time to complete them and make a daily schedule to live by.
Step 1 : There isn't much point in living healthy if you can't eat healthy.
Skip any snacks in the grocery store that have sugar as one of the first four ingredients with more than 10 grams per serving.
To keep it simple, just snack on plain foods, such as bananas, apples, plums, peaches, carrots, nuts, or dried fruits.
When making meals, keep it simple, don't overdue it on the average weekday.
Canned veggies, are ready in a couple minutes.
Whole grain cereals are great.
Look for protien sources you are comfortable with that are not breaded and deep fried. Personally, I like tuna, eggs, soy, milk, beans, tofu, beef, chicken, pork, and turkey.
Step 2 allow time to do everything, some things might need to trade off certain days. Its ok. Just remember, you should juggle your life, not the other way round.
