Gone But Not Forgotten Inc - Providing Awareness for Missing and Lost Victims

My first course of action was to get the organization incorporated as a non-profit in Florida and I have competed that and we a legally and officially "Gone But Not Forgotten Inc" non-profit organization. The next step I completed was establishing a company website and logo and our website is www.gonebutnotforgotteninc.org. The next step I am currently working on is raising start-up funds and applying for grants for maintenance of website, legal assistance, start-up supplies such as business cards, brochures, etc, informational pamphlets and most important to cover the $400 fee to apply and obtain 501(c)3 status from the IRS to become a Tax exempt charitable organization. By obtaining this 501(c)3 from IRS, more donors will be more lenient in offering funding, grants and other donations. So far I believe we are making good impact on the community around us by making people more aware of how big of an issue it is that thousands of people go missing everyday. In addition, I have made an impact by bring awareness to current missing victims in our very own community, including my brother.
