The Problem
There is a lot of fresh talent in the underground of Chicago hip hop, however most of these artists are not being heard. It is very difficult to get your music heard on any mainstream outlet, so we are trying to bridge the gap between the underground and the mainstream. We attract a mainstream audience by highlighting mainstream artists, while also highlighting underground artists at the same time. By doing this we hope to educate and bridge communication between the industry, and all the unheard talent from the underground. We go a step further by being able to educate musicians with professional online college level courses from anything in music business all the way to production & mastering. Not only do we highlight hip hop artists, but we appreciate and promote all types of talent including those in: design, fashion, photography, video, fine art, and architecture.
Our goal is to expand on a worldly level, so that we can help promote all of this unique unheard talent, and thus better the world.
Plan of Action
We have already begun to see and feel the impact of Gowhere Hip Hop on the Chicago hip hop underground scene as we have contributed to a never before seen sense of unity. We keep attracting new visitors everyday, however we are looking to get promotion on some big professional outlets so more people hear about how great what we're doing is. We will keep promoting positive new & established talent in fields of Hip Hop, R&B, design, fashion, photo, video, fine art, and architecture. This will continue to bridge the gap between the mainstream and underground, therefor giving unknown artists a chance for some recognition. We plan to make GWHH a brand outside of the internet with the clothing line Limited G, Inc. owned by Max Gutnik. This will bring positive unity for a cause that aims to work hard and produce unique things that better the world. We are currently working with bigger publications to help get our word out about the courses we offer, and the talent we put out.
