GREEN GIRLS
the problem:
Help support the Green Girl Fund. This is a fund to help women in need of financial assistance. Primarily women who have had some sort of outstanding hospital bill due to pregnancy complications or miscarriages. We know that this must me a horrible obstacle to go through and we want to show them as women we understand. We want to show them that we are here to help and even if it is just by a little bit of money, prayers, and out encouragement, it is the least we can do. Please help us help these women.

3why it's important:
One of my best friends just went through a very difficult still birth and it was devistating. The hospital bills were outrageous. I wanted to do something to help her and decided why just stop with her. Women go through this horrible situation everyday. I hope eventually that the women that will be effected by the "Green Girl Fund" will help others like them to overcome the greif and sorrows.
the plan of action:
First we are planning on hitting up all the local businesses and asking if we can put information cards on counters, etc. Then we are also selling slips to hang up in certain businesses that have a fill in name blank and a thank you for the donation text on them. Our hope is that people will donate what they can and that will eventually add up and that along with the website donation cards you can buy to support these women, it will be enough to change a life.
how you can get involved:
Buy purchacing a donation card or writing to greengirlfund@lacymeeker.com and just asking to help by passing out information cards.
