The Problem

Our mission is to help people in our community. We live in Camden, Maine where a lot of families are struggling to put food on the table. Even though it might not seem like it to some people, there are a lot of people in our community that are struggling to get a sufficient amount of food. There are food pantries which help out, however for the most part they don't offer the people who go to it fresh vegetables and fruits. This is what we're trying to solve. We are growing vegetables, with generous donations of seeds, so food pantries can have the opportunity to offer fresh food rather than packaged.

Plan of Action

Our plan is to ask for donations of either money or seeds and or soil directly in which we bring to our state of the art greenhouse in Owls Head, Maine. We will plant, grow and harvest our vegetables. Once harvested, we plan to donate all of the them to different food pantries throughout our community. Since our project is just getting started, our crops are still in the growing stage so nothing has yet been distributed to pantries.
