The Problem

We are trying to promote local organic gardening. Most people get produce from the gorcery store that is flown in from thousands of miles away. They are sprayed with dangerous pesticieds and fertilizers. we promote buying from local organic gardens or planting your own garden. my family does not buy any vegetables from the grocery store. all the vegetables we need are grown in our garden organically. our large community gardens produce hundreds of punds of produce which we donate to local food banks, charities, and soup kitchens.

Plan of Action

we plant community gardens and get people to volunteer. the hundreds of pounds of produce we harvest is donated to local food banks, charities, and soup kitchens. for example we have donated to the maryland food bank, johns hopkins center for social concern, and a soup ktchen especially made for serving homeless aids patients.
