The Problem

Every seven minutes someone in America becomes blind. Only 3 percent of visually disabled individuals use a guide dog because of the limited number of volunteers who are essential to the raising and training of a guide dog.

Plan of Action

My 4h club is starting a guide dog raising project in which we raise guide dogs for the blind. Each member will care for and train the dogs until they are old enough to attend formal guide dog training.
